In 2017, the acceptance rate of the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras was 39.9% (2,411 admissions out of 6,046 applications). That`s less than the 2016 acceptance rate of 51.3%. Between 2016 and 2017, the number of applicants decreased by -4.83%, while admissions decreased by -26%. This visualization illustrates the percentage of major graduates of the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras undergraduate programs by major. The graduation rate is defined as the percentage of full-time students who received a degree or scholarship within a certain percentage of “normal time” until the end of their program.
